Update planners with Agenda and HW
Romeo and Juliet Act I
Students may work with a partner and use No Fear Shakespeare books to retell Act I of Romeo and Juliet. Each partner must complete his/her own "book".
Give each student 2 pieces of white paper.
Fold the 2 papers together to make a book of 6 pages, the front page is the cover. Use the "book" to complete the following:
Cover
: Title, Romeo and Juliet Act I, and Picture
Scene 1
: On p. 1- 2 of your book, write 2 sentences and draw 1 picture or symbol on each page to describe scene 1, p. 5-29 in No Fear Shakespeare.
Scene 2:
On p. 3 of your book, write 2 sentences and draw one picture or symbol to describe scene 2, p. 29-37 of No Fear Shakespeare.
Scene 3
: On p. 4 of your book,
write 2 sentences and draw one picture or symbol to describe scene 3, p. 39-47 of No Fear Shakespeare.
Scene 4
:
On p. 5 of your book,write 2 sentences and draw one picture or symbol to describe scene 4, p.49-57 of No Fear Shakespeare.
Scene 5
: On p. 6 of your book,write 2 sentences and draw one picture or symbol to describe scene 5, p.59-71of No Fear Shakespeare.
All books must be in COLOR to receive full credit!
Teacher will circulate and keep students on task. Teacher will stamp the back cover of books of students who are working respectfully and on task : )
